I wanted to know. . . .If the payroll company that my previous employer used to pay me would be able to post mail my w-2 form directly to me, instead of mailing it to my employer. I really don’t trust my previous employer. My previous employer is extremelllllllly irresponsible and careless!

How does one learn how to do payroll in New York?

Nov 15th, 2009 | By How To Do Anything | Category: How to do Payroll

How does one learn how to do payroll? I have a small business in New York with just one employee other than me. Right now I pay over $100/month for a payroll service, which seems a little silly. If I could learn to do it myself - filing the taxes, etc. - I would give it try. Is there a place online to learn?

Would working at a payroll company be good enough job experience when applying to become a financial analyst?

Nov 1st, 2009 | By How To Do Anything | Category: How to do Payroll

I want to work at this payroll company for at least a year first, but I’m not sure if it’ll be good enough experience to apply for a financial analyst position. I’ll be getting my Finance degree soon and it’s been 8 months since I’ve been working there.

Any advice would be very appreciated.
