    Good ideas; bad execution
    I appreciate this book for getting me using a slow cooker for the first time and giving me a lot of ideas. A few recipes have become regulars in our kitchen.

    Good recipes but poor directions
    What I like about this recipe book is that unlike other slow cooker cookbooks, this one doesn’t rely on a lot of processed foods.

    All the recipes look good, though not light (I knew that).
    We’ve only tried one recipe so far – Chocolate Bread Pudding – and it was wonderful! I’m sure we’ll have many great meals from this book, though the recipes are NOT light!

    When we bought the new slowcooker, we realized that we didn’t have a lot of recipes for using it besides throw in a roast, some potatoes and carrots and let it go.
