  2. Resumes and Cover Letters

As a manager having to look through stacks of resumes and applications, I have to agree 100% with the comment on details. If I have a hundred applicants why even read the one that can’t line up his bullet points or use font consistently? This is a good video. Thanks for posting it.

Tips for writing a perfect resume. Skills and Experience sections. If you have a skill you must show it. Write your experience in a way that relates to the position you are applying for. Show that you have value.

  4. The Resume Handbook

There are many valid points in this video, but the one about experience may not be. If you look closely in the education area this person did not graduate until 2007. Both positions in experience are precompletion of the degree, so much of the experience will not be related. I agree that they should highlight the principal position more, but the others should also be there.

Your use of the political pictures is very unprofessional.

It is nice to have a step-by-step explaination about what is good and what is bad for a resume. I always get stuck when it comes to writing a resume. 9. Resumes and Cover Letters

Great detailed approach and useful explanation of what each segment of a resume can do for you. I liked how the points were re-iterated in print on blank screens. Not overwhelming amount of information.

  10. Resume Maker Software

Good video. The author focused on a lot of details that may otherwise be overlooked by the average person. I particularly liked how he pointed out the difference in font for the titles — which did appear very similar — but to me displays a lack of focus throughout writing the resume, and the neglect of double-checking. I imagine that would particularly irk an employer in that desired field.
